The Vuokkoset Sanitary Pads Normal wings are made of 100% organic material.
The outer layer is made of organic cotton, and the inner layer is made entirely of pure cellulose, 100% chlorine-free (no SAP), from certified Scandinavian forests. This means the pad is biodegradable and compostable. Even the packaging has been considered. It is made of biobased material, compostable and recyclable (from sugarcane).
The sanitary napkin carries the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and is approved by the Finnish Asthma and Allergy Federation.
