Volatile Love Dream
Love Dream
With lemon, jasmine, myrrh, sandalwood, vanilla, vetiver, and ylang-ylang, among others. Love Dream has something mischievous and erotic. A wonderful mixture to add to a partner massage oil.
Ingredients
Citrus limonum, Amyris balsamifera, Gananga odorata, Chrysopogon zizanoides, Styrax tonkinensis, Commiphora myrha
Usage
All aroma blends are composed of 100% natural essential oils. These blends can be mixed with all base products from Volatile. To optimally perceive their scent, they are preferably vaporized with water in an aroma lamp. In smaller rooms, a porous aroma stone can be used. • Evaporation: all essential oils are antiseptic and evaporate easily. It is therefore a pleasant way to create a pleasant scent and atmosphere in your home or workspace. Put some water in the top of an aroma lamp and add a few drops (maximum 6) of essential oil. Light the tea light in the aroma lamp and the oil will quickly start to evaporate. For small rooms, an aroma stone can also be used. • Steaming and inhaling: steaming is a very effective way to use essential oils. Hold your head under a towel, over a bowl of hot water and add 2 to 4 drops of essential oil. It is also possible to put two drops of essential oil on your pillow or on a handkerchief. • Bathing: never use undiluted essential oils in the bath, but mix them with a neutral bath oil. Mix approximately 10 ml of bath oil with 4 to 6 drops of essential oil. The warm bath water promotes the absorption of essential oils through the skin. A bath of approximately 15 minutes guarantees optimal effectiveness of the essential oils. A nourishing foot bath is also an option. For this, use 2 drops of essential oil with two tablespoons of Dead Sea salt or 5 ml of neutral bath oil. • Massage: Mix two to six drops of essential oil in 10 ml of neutral base oil. For children, the elderly, and during pregnancy, a maximum of 1 drop of essential oil per 10 ml of base oil is recommended. • Compresses: Fill a bowl with warm or cold water and add 4 to 6 drops of essential oil. Soak a towel in this water and place the cold or warm compress on the area to be treated. A cold compress with lavender and Roman chamomile, for example, has a wonderfully cooling effect on a sprained ankle. For abdominal pain, a warm compress with lavender, marjoram, and Roman chamomile is recommended. Storage Store essential oils out of reach of children and pets. They are flammable and should therefore not be stored or used near open flames. Be careful with polished surfaces: the oil can damage them. Immediately remove any spilled drops. Due to their volatile nature, essential oils evaporate quickly. They are affected when exposed to heat, light, and oxygen and should therefore be stored well-sealed, cool, and dark. Essential oils can, if the bottle is properly sealed, be stored for several years. After that, the quality slowly decreases. Citrus oils are an exception to this rule: they should be used within 1 year after opening. Other essential oils, however, such as sandalwood, patchouli, and vetiver, can be stored for years after opening without losing quality.
Warnings
Safety instructions With the exception of tea tree and lavender, essential oils should not be applied undiluted to the skin. If an essential oil accidentally gets into the eyes or causes irritation, immediately apply a fatty vegetable oil to the area. In case of accidental internal use, also immediately drink a few sips of fatty vegetable oil. Essential oils dissolve best in, for example, olive oil or sunflower oil. In addition, these oils have an immediate soothing effect. Then immediately call a doctor! Warning Essential oils can only be used internally under expert guidance. Volatile's aromatherapist advises against internal use. Never experiment with this yourself! Always keep oils out of reach of children. Some essential oils should not be used on babies or during pregnancy.
