Volatile Citronella
This oil is organically grown. Citronella is a tall grass native to Java or Sri Lanka. This oil was formerly called Melissa Indicum. It is a steam distillation of the fresh, semi-dried, or dried grass. It is potent and has a lemony scent with a camphor-like undertone.
Compound
Citronella bio (Cymbopogon nardus) essential oil
Usage
100% pure essential oil. Always read the package insert before use. You'll also find more information about dosages for various applications there.
Warnings
Safety regulations
With the exception of tea tree and lavender, essential oils should not be applied undiluted to the skin. If an essential oil accidentally gets into your eyes or causes irritation, immediately apply a fatty plant oil to the affected area. If accidentally used internally, also immediately drink a few sips of the fatty plant oil. Essential oils dissolve best in oils like olive oil or sunflower oil. Moreover, these oils have an immediate soothing effect. Consult a doctor immediately!
Warning!!!
Essential oils should only be used internally under expert supervision. Volatile's aromatherapist advises against internal use. Never experiment with this yourself! Always keep oils out of reach of children. Some essential oils should not be used on babies or during pregnancy.
