Anti Head Lice Oil
The Anti Head Lice Oil is a ready-to-use product from Volatile.
This oil consists of almond oil mixed with 5% pure essential
oil and an emulsifier. You can apply this oil directly
on the hair roots. Part the hair and apply the
Apply Anti-Lice Oil until the hair roots are saturated. Massage
the oil thoroughly for about 5 minutes. Then wrap
cling film around the head so that all the hair is covered and
the ears are kept free. After about 2 hours, remove the foil above
a sink and rinse your hair with Anti Head Lice Shampoo
of Volatile or normal shampoo (the oil does not dissolve in water).
Then wash the hair with lukewarm water. Then
comb the hair with a lice comb to remove the dead lice and
to remove eggs from the hair. Repeat this treatment after
3 days.
Usage
All aroma blends are composed of 100% pure essential oils. These blends can be mixed with all base products.
Volatile are mixed. To optimally perceive their scent, they are preferably evaporated with water in a
Aroma lamp. In smaller spaces, a porous aroma stone can be used.
• Evaporation: All essential oils are antiseptic and evaporate easily. This is a pleasant way to create a pleasant scent and ambiance in your home or office. Fill a small aroma lamp with water and add a few drops (maximum 6) of essential oil. Light the tea light in the aroma lamp, and the oil will soon begin to evaporate. For smaller spaces, an aroma stone can also be used.
• Steaming and inhalation: Steaming is a very effective way to use essential oils. Hold your head under a towel over a bowl of hot water and add 2 to 4 drops of essential oil. You can also place two drops of essential oil on your pillow or a handkerchief.
• Bathing: Never use undiluted essential oils in the bath, but mix them with a neutral bath oil. Mix approximately 10 ml of bath oil with 4 to 6 drops of essential oil. The warm bathwater promotes the absorption of the essential oils by the skin. A bath of approximately 15 minutes guarantees optimal effectiveness of the essential oils. A nourishing foot bath is also an option. For this, use 2 drops of essential oil with two tablespoons of Dead Sea salt or 5 ml of neutral bath oil.
• Massage: Mix two to six drops of essential oil in 10 ml of neutral carrier oil. For children, the elderly, and during pregnancy, a maximum of 1 drop of essential oil per 10 ml of carrier oil is recommended.
• Compresses: Fill a bowl with warm or cold water and add 4 to 6 drops of essential oil. Soak a towel in this water and place the cold or warm compress on the area to be treated. For example, a cold compress with lavender and Roman chamomile has a wonderful cooling effect on a sprained ankle. For abdominal pain, a warm compress with lavender, marjoram, and Roman chamomile is recommended.

Keep essential oils out of reach of children and pets. They are flammable and should not be stored or used near open flames. Be careful with polished surfaces: the oil can damage them. Remove any spilled drops immediately. Due to their volatile nature, essential oils evaporate quickly. They deteriorate when exposed to heat, light, and oxygen and should therefore be stored tightly closed in a cool, dark place. Essential oils can be stored for several years if the bottle is tightly sealed. After that, the quality gradually diminishes. Citrus oils are an exception to this rule: they should be used within one year of opening. Other essential oils, however, such as sandalwood, patchouli, and vetiver, can be stored for years after opening without deteriorating.

With the exception of tea tree and lavender, essential oils should not be applied undiluted to the skin. If an essential oil accidentally gets into your eyes or causes irritation, immediately apply a fatty plant oil to the affected area. If accidentally used internally, also immediately drink a few sips of the fatty plant oil. Essential oils dissolve best in oils like olive oil or sunflower oil. Moreover, these oils have an immediate soothing effect. Consult a doctor immediately!
