Microbiol Platinum contains at least 10 billion viable bacteria per capsule from the world's most researched probiotic strain: Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG. Recent study by TNO
In a recent – independent, non-profit – systematic review by TNO (2018), Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG performed best compared to other probiotic strains and blends. Only probiotic products available on the Dutch market and with which randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled studies had been conducted with the (combination of) bacterial strain(s) used were included. The aim of the study was to provide physicians and healthcare professionals with a solid scientific basis, enabling them to confidently advise on the use of probiotic products. Three high-quality, independent human studies with Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG resulted in the highest score of three stars. It is also the only strain with three stars. Six other strains or blends received one star. It is striking that this single strain scored better than formulations with more strains. More is not always better. Moreover, this review again demonstrates the crucial importance of evaluating probiotics based on strain-specific research. And if a product contains multiple strains, studies must be conducted using that specific combination of strains. Not all strains are the same, and one strain can influence another. The Danish company Chr. Hansen, the leading probiotic specialist, owns and produces this bacterial strain. Their advanced production process ensures that the capsules have a long shelf life in their sealed packaging outside the refrigerator. This is, of course, very convenient in practice and in stores. Furthermore, Vitals deliberately chooses dark violet glass (almost black) for its probiotic products, which optimally protects the contents from the effects of air, light, and moisture. The packaging also includes a desiccant bag and is hermetically sealed with an airtight aluminum seal. Finally, the products are produced and stored under controlled conditions. This guarantees the viability of these bacterial strains.
About the name Microbiol
The name Microbiol is derived from 'microbiome'. This refers to the entire body of microorganisms that live on and in our bodies, such as intestinal flora. These are the bacteria that have been part of our gastrointestinal tract since birth. They include lactobacilli.

Usage
Take 1-2 capsules daily with water during a meal. Follow the recommended dosage.
When using an antibiotic, it is advisable to leave at least 2 hours between taking Microbiol Platinum and the antibiotic.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
NB:
After opening, store in the refrigerator. During use, when the cap is constantly unscrewed, moisture and air are released into the product. To maintain optimal stability during use, it may be advisable to keep it refrigerated from then on. Unopened, the product can be stored at room temperature.
