Producer Chr. Hansen
Chr. Hansen is the producer of this bacterial strain and has been responsible for extensive research on this specific strain (including in babies). Bifidobacterium, BB-12, is supported by 370 scientific publications and 180 human studies, making it the most robustly substantiated Bifidobacterium strain. This is quite unique and very important! One bacterial strain (indicated by a suffix like BB-12) is not the same as another, even if they belong to the same genus (in this case, Bifidobacterium) and the same species (Bifidobacterium lactis). Therefore, strain-specific research is particularly informative.
Safety and ease of use
The requirements for a probiotic specifically designed for babies and young children are very high. Safety and ease of use play an even greater role here than with products for adults. Usage
Shake well before each use (30 seconds)*. Give 6 drops per day on a spoon or mixed with (lukewarm) milk or other food.
* The viable bacteria (Bifidobacterium lactis) in this product settle to the bottom. Therefore, it's important to shake well before each use (for 30 seconds) to mix the powder with the oil as much as possible. Some residue may also remain in the dropper, preventing proper dripping. Shaking for 30 seconds will help loosen the powder.
When using an antibiotic, it is advisable to leave at least 2 hours between taking Microbiol Kind and the antibiotic.
Storage instructions
Store closed at room temperature. Once opened, do not refrigerate and use within 4 weeks.
