Vertargil Green clay paste in tube
Improved formula:
This improved formula has a delightful fragrance, is easier to apply, and is very skin-friendly. The ready-to-use formula consists only of pure green clay from the South of France, organic rose and lavender water from Bulgaria, and, for shelf life, a very small amount (after the decimal point) of preservatives for natural cosmetics (Ecocert certified). Products mixed with water are perishable and must therefore always be preserved to prevent the growth of bacteria and mold.
The tea tree and lavender essential oils have been removed from the formula at the request of many professionals, so you can add your own (if needed). Add 1-2 drops of essential oil to 1 tablespoon of green clay mask. Note: first dissolve the essential oil in a teaspoon of plant oil. The rose and lavender waters replace the regular water and essential oils from the old formula. Hydrosols are very gentle on the skin, have astringent, toning, purifying properties, and a delightful fragrance.
About green clay:
Vertargil green clay is 100% naturally occurring, unprocessed, and has been used since ancient times. Clay is a living, intelligent substance whose effects have never been replicated in a laboratory. The ancient Egyptians used clay from the Nile River for wound care and mummification. Farmers traditionally treated the ailments of their domestic animals and livestock with clay. Often, it was thanks to wild animals that people discovered places with healing soil. It was observed that injured animals would wallow in the mud at specific locations and then recover quickly.
Green clay appears to be the most powerful and effective of the clay types and has a strong cleansing effect. Green clay contains many minerals such as aluminum, iron, silicon, calcium, magnesium, sodium, and potassium. Traces of hydrogen, titanium, chlorine, phosphorus, carbon, manganese, and sulfur have been found. It is rich in enzymes that promote the absorption of minerals and vitamins.
Quality:
In the deep south of France, clay layers have formed over millions of years. The warm, sunny climate has stored a great deal of solar energy in the clay. The clay is mined, dried in the sun, and then finely vibrated and filtered using a special technique. Each batch is laboratory-tested to meet the highest ingredient standards to guarantee top quality!

Usage
Green clay mask:
Green clay paste is excellent as a cleansing and skin-restoring mask for normal to oily skin. It's also very effective for pimples and acne. Apply the green clay paste liberally to your face. The green clay paste will dry. Leave the mask on for up to 20 minutes. Remove the mask with warm water. The dried green clay paste is easiest to remove in the shower. This also rinses away the clay thoroughly.
You can add 1-2 drops of essential oil to this ready-to-use tube for 1 tablespoon of green clay mask. Note: first dissolve the essential oil in a teaspoon of plant oil.
Do you have dry and/or sensitive skin? You can also use green clay for a cleansing and skin-restoring mask. Because of the clay's strong cleansing and drying properties, we recommend adding extra plant oil or covering it with foil or compresses. This makes the mask softer and gentler on the skin and prevents it from drying out. After a maximum of 20 minutes, you can remove the mask with cotton balls or tissues and rinse with warm water.
You can also use green clay powder and mix it with a base oil, such as almond or jojoba oil.
Green clay packs and compresses:
The ready-made green clay paste is also excellent for wraps and compresses. Give your entire body a cleansing wrap by applying the clay liberally. Let the clay dry for 20 minutes and remove it with a warm shower. The ready-made green clay paste can also be used as a cold compress. A cold clay compress draws heat from the skin and body. Ideal after exercise or sports!
Green clay as washing water:
Clay is even suitable for skin types that cannot tolerate soap. Massage the clay into damp skin to thoroughly cleanse the pores. Then rinse thoroughly with water.
Warnings
It is rare to be allergic to clay
Discard clay after use and keep it out of reach of children and animals. Clay is for single use only.
Clay is a wonderful natural product, but it's never a substitute for medical advice. If in doubt, always consult a physician before using clay.
