Duo Sensor technology:
The innovative Duo Sensor technology combines two professional measurement technologies: the oscillometric method and Korotkoff technology. Most automatic blood pressure monitors use only oscillometric technology, but Duo Sensor technology also utilizes the highly accurate Korotkoff method, which is also used by doctors to measure blood pressure. This technology is characterized by low sensitivity to interference and provides accurate measured values even in patients with cardiac arrhythmias. Doctors use a stethoscope to listen to the so-called Korotkoff sounds and thus determine blood pressure. They use Korotkoff technology for blood pressure measurement because it is highly reliable (gold standard). The Veroval® duo control does exactly the same with the help of a built-in microphone. Thus, Duo Sensor technology delivers accurate results while being very easy to use.
