Radical-Check® contains 10 urine test strips to determine the level of MDA (Malondialdehyde) in human urine. MDA is a by-product produced in the body when free radicals oxidize fat. Free radicals are necessary for the functioning of the human body. They are used to convert glucose and fats and help fight viruses and bacteria. Free radicals also play a role in destroying abnormal cells. However, a (persistently) elevated level of free radicals is associated with various health complaints and problems. Too many free radicals can therefore attack healthy cells, which can cause aging and degenerative diseases. This is called oxidative stress.

Usage
Radical-Check® can provide an indication of the level of free radicals by measuring MDA in urine. After dipping the strip in urine, the result can be determined after 3 minutes using the extensive color scale. This allows for differentiation between a minimal, low, medium, or high level of oxidative stress. The use of morning urine is recommended as it guarantees the most accurate determination. In case of (strongly) elevated MDA values, you can consider adopting a healthier lifestyle (diet with antioxidant-rich foods and more exercise).
