Testjezelf.nu Meno-check menopause test
Meno-Check®.
Meno-check® is a quick, easy, and over 99% reliable test to determine whether you, as a woman, may have already entered menopause. The test is highly sensitive, allowing it to also identify the period leading up to menopause (premenopause).
Meno-Check® - Importance of Diagnosing Menopause
When women enter menopause, their hormone balance changes. One of the consequences can be osteoporosis. Moreover, many other health risks are known to be associated with this period. The most common are elevated blood pressure and cholesterol.
It's therefore crucial to identify this period early. This easy-to-perform urine home test now gives you that reliable option.
Meno-Check® - FSH Hormone
Meno-check® detects the increase in FSH* (Follicle Stimulating Hormone) with over 99% accuracy. This hormone is present in high levels and measurable during the early menopause. It is easily measured in urine.
The test achieves this reliability because two measurements are taken. A separate urine collection cup is included for each measurement (hygiene). The test includes a comprehensive manual in Dutch.
Transition?
The premenopausal period is often characterized by hot flashes, night sweats, irregular periods, and vaginal dryness. It's medically important to know you've entered (pre)menopause. Even if you're trying to conceive later in life and aren't successful, it's important to know whether you've already entered menopause and are therefore infertile (or less fertile).
Consequences of Menopause?
As mentioned, your hormonal balance changes. The consequences of this are often osteoporosis, elevated blood pressure, and elevated cholesterol. These consequences can often be easily prevented by making a timely appointment with your doctor. Together, you can then discuss the use of hormone supplements.
* Your body undergoes many changes just before and during menopause. The most important hormone in this process is FSH. Are you still taking the pill? Then it's good to know that you can never get a false positive test with Meno-Check®. The pill can suppress FSH, which can sometimes result in a negative result. If you continue to experience symptoms, stop taking the pill temporarily and test yourself again.
