If the test was stored in the refrigerator, it must be brought to room temperature unopened before use.You will need a glass or cup to collect the urine.It must be clean and dry and free of detergent residues. You will also need a stopwatch or a watch.Collecting a urine sample:Ask the person to be tested to provide a urine sample (to urinate into the cup).Performing the test:Remove the test cassette and pipette from the pouch. You can dispose of the empty plastic pouch and desiccant packet with regular household waste. Begin testing immediately after opening the pouch.Place the cassette on a flat surface and take a moment to calmly examine the test cassette. Dip the tip of the pipette into the urine and draw up a small amount of urine to the line on the pipette. Now drop 3 - 4 drops of urine into the round opening of the test cassette. Start the stopwatch or watch immediately after dropping. You will now see the red-colored liquid slowly moving across the result window from right to left.Read the result after 5 minutes. Reading after 5 minutes is also possible, but a maximum of 15 minutes. Reading after 15 minutes may yield an unreliable result.
