Test yourself.nu Allergy check dust mites
Unique and only self-test to diagnose house dust mite allergy. The result is over 98% consistent with a laboratory blood test. Easy to use at home.
With a house dust mite allergy, the immune system reacts inappropriately aggressively to the droppings of dust mites. These droppings float through the air. Dust mites are practically everywhere. They nest primarily in mattresses, duvets, sleeping bags, and pillows, but also in carpeting and furniture. A dust mite allergy isn't seasonal. Dust mites feed on human and pet dander.
What are the symptoms of house dust mite allergy and how do they develop?
When a person with a house dust mite allergy inhales the allergen, the body reacts by releasing histamine. This causes various symptoms, including asthmatic symptoms and symptoms similar to hay fever.
Common complaints include:
- itch
- sneeze
- eczema
- watery eyes
- a runny or stuffy nose
- shortness of breath
- shortness of breath
- The symptoms often develop immediately after contact with the allergen.
Who gets house dust mite allergy?
Like most allergies, house dust mite allergy develops slowly. This means that young children generally don't experience symptoms right away. However, any allergy will likely manifest itself in the first 30 years of life.
Allergy Check® can be used to detect an allergy in just 30 minutes.
