Suprasorb® P PU foam dressing, self-adhesive,
is a three-layer wound dressing consisting
of a polyurethane backing layer with an
acrylate adhesive, a polyurethane foam layer
which is additionally provided with a perforated
polyurethane wound contact layer.
Suprasorb® P PU foam dressing, self-adhesive, is
designed for its fluid absorption capacity to be suitable
for treating moderately exuding
superficial wounds. The dressing adapts
to the wound bed.

Dressing changes are tissue-friendly because
adhesion to the wound is largely
prevented. The Suprasorb® P PU foam dressing,
self-adhesive, is soft and flexible and therefore also
suitable for difficult-to-treat body parts.

Use

The Suprasorb® P PU foam dressing is intended for absorption of wound exudate and for mechanical protection of the wound.

Suprasorb® P is used for treating moderately exuding, superficial wounds.

Instructions for use
The product is applied by professional healthcare providers. When treating venous leg ulcers, the prescribed compression therapy for pressure ulcers with pressure relief must be continued. 1. Wound preparation: The wound must be thoroughly cleaned according to current clinical standards. The surrounding skin must be clean and dry. 2. Applying the wound dressing: a) The size of the dressing should be adapted to the wound surface. If necessary, the dressing can be cut. The dressing should overlap the wound by at least 2-3 cm. b) Check the sterile barrier for visible damage before opening. c) Open the packaging at the designated place and remove the product aseptically. d) Remove the protective film. e) Place the dressing on the wound, smooth it out, and press down the edges. 3. Dressing change The intervals between dressing changes of Suprasorb® P PU foam dressing, self-adhesive, are determined by the treating physician depending on the wound situation. a) On a carefully cleaned wound, Suprasorb® P PU foam dressing, self-adhesive, can remain for up to seven days. b) The dressing should be changed when the exudate in the swollen foam layer exceeds the size of the wound surface.

Warnings
• Suprasorb® P PU foam dressing, self-adhesive, is for single use only and must not be re-sterilized.
• Do not use Suprasorb® P PU foam dressing, self-adhesive, together with oxidizing agents such as hypochlorite solutions or hydrogen peroxide.
• Do not use if the packaging is damaged or accidentally opened.
