SleepPro Snoring Mouthpiece Contour SFA helps you sleep peacefully again without snoring and/or (sleep) apnea and offers seven different possible positions to bring the jaw forward, for a precise desired adjustment (0-12 mm).
The SleepPro Contour SFA Snoring Mouthpiece is the latest addition to the SleepPro range of mandibular advancement splints (anti-snoring mouthpieces). This anti-snoring mouthpiece (also suitable for sleep apnea) was specially developed in response to numerous requests from ENT doctors and patients seeking an easy-to-adjust mouthpiece with a perfect fit for comfortable use and medically proven effectiveness.
To ensure a perfect fit, the SleepPro Contour SFA Snoring Mouthpiece uses the original "boil and bite" technology. The thermopolymer liner (gel layer) in the lower and upper arches or jaw trays ensures a secure and comfortable fit. With the SleepPro Contour SFA Snoring Mouthpiece, you can experiment endlessly to find the perfect and most comfortable position that stops snoring.
Adjusting the SleepPro Snoring Mouthpiece Contour SFA:
The upper and lower mouthpieces should be immersed in freshly boiled water for 3 minutes. Once the warm water has cooled, bite down on both the upper and lower mouthpieces simultaneously, slightly moving your jaw forward. This will create your teeth impressions in both mouthpieces.
Make the upper and lower mouthpieces fit snugly, using your finger.
Remove the mouthpiece from your mouth and place it in cold water to harden the gel layers.
Attach one pair of the seven tension straps to the upper and lower mouthpieces.
The mouthpiece is then ready for use. To find the correct jaw position and fit, we recommend starting with the middle tension band and then, if desired, choosing a shorter or longer tension band to move the lower jaw further forward or backward.
How do the interchangeable straps work?
The interchangeable tension straps allow for precise adjustment of the lower jaw's advancement. This restores tension to the upper airway and prevents soft tissues from sagging, thus preventing snoring. If snoring doesn't stop with the straps attached, try a smaller strap size. The selected setting may also be too far forward. In that case, choose the next longer strap.
Additional gel in small sticks is not supplied as standard; you can request these from Sleeppro.
