Shush Werk earplugs
Noise-induced hearing loss is one of the most common occupational health problems worldwide. Sound levels of 80 dB can cause hearing damage after just eight hours. Every 3 dB increase halves the safe working time. So, working at 83 dB can be harmful after just four hours of exposure. Wearing hearing protection is mandatory in many countries from 85 dB. SHUSH Worker Earplugs reduce hazardous noise in the workplace.
SHUSH Worker earplugs protect your hearing from dangerous noise levels from machinery and equipment on the work site. They shield your hearing from excessive noise while allowing conversations with colleagues and alarms in the workshop to remain clearly audible. SHUSH earplugs also improve your concentration, keeping your ears safe and healthy. Thanks to fewer distractions and improved focus, you'll feel fitter at the end of the day and won't feel any pressure on your ears.
SNR = Single number rating

WORKER earplugs are designed for industries with health and safety risks due to noise. These include factories, construction sites, infrastructure, civil engineering, airports, maintenance, waste management, metalworking, woodworking, mining, the steel industry, and other noisy sectors. They are used by metalworkers, carpenters, production workers, mechanics, road workers, gardeners, and ground crews at airports.
ALUMINUM STORAGE TUBE
Store your earplugs clean and dry in the aluminum storage case. For good ear hygiene. Use it as a keychain so you always have them within reach.
CERAMIC FILTER
Most reliable damping and the least amount of drift. The smooth surface and venturi shape ensure a natural tone and clear sound.
BEST PROTECTION
Shush is the only earplug where the filter is firmly positioned inside the earplug. And not at the end of the grip, like almost all other earplugs. So all sound enters safely filtered.
What is this medicine used for?
WORKER earplugs are designed for industries with health and safety risks due to noise. They are used by metalworkers, carpenters, production workers, mechanics, road workers, gardeners, and ground crews at airports.
Directions for use
Before use, check that the Shush earplugs are clean. Shush earplugs come in one universal size, and there is no difference between left and right earplugs.
Insertion (Image 1)
1. Grasp the Shush earplugs by the stem. Use the hand on the same side of the ear as the one you want to insert the earplug into.
2. Use your other hand to gently pull the top of your ear up at a slight angle to better open your ear canal.
3. Gently slide the earplugs into the ear canal in an upward motion.
4. Release the auricle and, if necessary, push the earplug a little further until it forms a comfortable seal.
SHUSH earplugs offer the best protection when you insert them before entering a noisy environment or space. This ensures the best sound experience. Then, wear them continuously and remove them only when you've left the noisy environment or space.
To take out
Twist the earplug or move your earcup back. This will loosen the earplug slightly and make it easier to remove.
Shush is designed with a three-layer mushroom shape. If you have a narrow ear canal, inserting the earplugs up to the first layer is sufficient. If you have a wide ear canal, the earplugs will fit completely in your ear, up to the third layer. Every ear is different, with ears having different shapes and sizes. Of course, there are exceptions, with ear canals that are too small or too wide for a universal size. SHUSH earplugs fit 99.9% of all ears.
If you have a wide ear canal, be careful when inserting the earplugs for the first time. Don't push them too far or too deep into your ear canal. The earplugs may be difficult to remove, or you may even need to use tweezers.
Read the package leaflet before use.
Ingredients
Recyclable, hypoallergenic and silicone-free synthetic rubber (TPE)
Warnings
• SHUSH earplugs only provide optimal protection when inserted correctly and kept clean. Make sure you follow the steps in these instructions carefully.
• Do not remove the filter from the SHUSH earplugs. Without a filter, your hearing is not protected.
• Do not use in an inflamed ear.
• After use, always remove the earplugs slowly from your ears. Pulling the earplugs out too hard or too quickly can damage the eardrum. Make sure you follow the instructions in these instructions carefully.
• Do not swallow. Not for internal use, except in the ear canal.
• Keep out of reach of children due to the risk of choking/suffocation.
• If the SHUSH earplug material tears or breaks, it should no longer be used as it may no longer provide a proper seal in your ear. The earplug should then be replaced as soon as possible.
Contact with certain chemicals can cause the earplugs to deteriorate more quickly. Therefore, always store them clean and dry – in the included aluminum storage container – to prevent dirt from damaging the earplugs.
• Failure to follow the instructions for use correctly may negatively impact the protective effect. In this case, SHUSH assumes no responsibility for any consequences.
• Hearing protection should be worn continuously in noisy environments.
