What is this medicine used for?

Directions for use
For optimal results, start using Scarban Velvet Touch silicone gel immediately after wound closure (after stitches have been removed and any scabs have disappeared).
Before use, cleanse the skin and allow to dry.
A small amount of silicone gel is sufficient per treatment.
For optimal therapy, apply a small amount of silicone gel to the scar twice a day using a smooth motion.
Reapply Scarban Velvet Touch silicone gel after intense activity (sports) and contact with water (showering, swimming).
If desired, Scarban Velvet Touch silicone gel can be combined with make-up after drying.

Side effects
In rare cases, the skin may experience a hypersensitive reaction (skin irritation) to silicone treatment. In that case, discontinue the treatment temporarily.
If necessary, Scarban Velvet Touch can be removed using a mild, skin-friendly soap.
Restart the treatment once the skin is calm again.
If skin problems persist, consult your doctor/physician.
If there are serious incidents related to the device, they must be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authorities (of the Member State) where the user is established.
