What is this medicine used for?
Revamil wound gel can be applied to chronic wounds (decubitus, various types of ulcers), infected wounds, acute wounds, surgical and radiation-induced oncological wounds and small burns (1st and 2nd degree)
Directions for use
1. Before applying Revamil wound gel, clean the wound.
2. Apply a thin layer of Revamil wound gel to the secondary wound dressing covering the wound.
3. Revamil wound gel can also be applied directly to the wound and then covered with a semi-occlusive wound dressing.
4. Secure the secondary wound dressing in the usual manner.
5. Depending on the type of wound, repeat the treatment every day or every two days.
Contraindications
Do not use on patients known to be hypersensitive to honey.
Ingredients
100% medicinal honey.
Warnings
- Do not use if the tube is damaged.
- Moisten the wound with 0.9% NaCl before applying wound gel.
- Avoid direct contact between the tube and the wound surface.
- Do not treat different patients with the same tube.
