Purasana Green tea instant
Pu-erh tea is made from the Camellia sinensis tea plant and originally comes from the Chinese province of Yunnan. Camellia sinensis is the same tea plant from which green tea is made. The main difference between green tea and pu-erh tea is the fermentation process.
After harvesting, the tea is matured for a long time under high humidity. This is different from green tea, which is only dried after the tea leaves are picked. Maturing under high humidity ensures that sufficient moisture and enzymes are present for fermentation. During fermentation, molds and bacteria convert substances in a product, changing its smell, taste, or appearance.
The unique fermentation process creates the dark red color of the tea and its characteristic taste. Pu-erh tea is known for its full, rich, and earthy notes. Fermentation can take months to years. The older the tea, the milder the taste.
Ingredients
maltodextrin, tetralose, lemon flavor, red tea extract (Camellia sinensis), anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide, hibiscus extract (Hibiscus sabdariffa), L-carnitine tartrate, CLA (conjugated linoleic acid), sweetener: sucralose.
