Camu camu berries are reddish-purple berries from the Myrciaria dubia tree. This tree grows near water in the Amazon and naturally contains numerous nutrients and phytonutrients. Camu camu berries are a natural source of zinc and very rich in vitamin C.
Distinctive, pronounced, sharply sour taste (lemon), quite dry, woody, slightly exotic with sweet background flavours, ideal for intensifying other flavours.
