Proviform Ester-C® 1000 mg Bio PLUS is gentler on the stomach than regular vitamin C (ascorbic acid). High concentrations of vitamin-rich acerola cherry, rosehip, bioflavonoids, and rutin make the difference in Proviform's patented Ester-C®.
Proviform Ester-C® 1000 mg Bio PLUS is calcium-bound. Therefore, it contains a pH-neutral form of vitamin C, which is gentler on the stomach.
Several ingredients in Proviform Ester-C® are immediately fat-soluble. This allows the body to utilize this vitamin immediately. Regular vitamin C is only water-soluble and therefore takes longer: the body must first convert the vitamin into a fat-soluble substance.
Bioflavonoids are water-soluble substances found alongside vitamin C, primarily in fresh fruits and vegetables. Rosehip and acerola are natural sources of vitamin C. Rutin is a natural citrus bioflavonoid. Bioflavonoids, rosehip, acerola, and rutin support the bioavailability of Ester-C®.
