Nutritional value
Usage
For food use as a gelling agent, thickener, and stabilizer. It gels and stabilizes jams, jellies, juices, compotes, pies, custards, yogurt, curds, etc. It also thickens in low concentrations in custards, ice cream, mayonnaise, and other sauces.
Preliminary preparation is required in three steps: Dissolve in warm water and boil, stirring vigorously, until completely dissolved. Gel formation occurs upon cooling and retains its texture at room temperature. Very soft texture 0.8 g/500 ml. Soft texture 1.5 g/500 ml. Hard texture 5 g/500 ml. Very hard texture 7 g/500 ml. Results based on tests conducted by PORTO-MUIÑOS. We recommend that each user perform their own tests and check their specific results.
For daily use, the recommended maximum dosage is approximately 5 grams of dried seaweed per day.
Save
Store at room temperature in a dark, dry place. Once opened, keep in an airtight container and consume before the "best before" date printed on the packaging.
The seaweed may contain traces of mollusks, crustaceans, and fish, and may contain small natural marine materials. The white color that can appear on the seaweed comes from the salt in the seaweed, which provides a natural preservative.
