Salt tablets are a nutritional supplement used for both human and veterinary use. They are used to supplement electrolytes in cases of excessive sweating due to strenuous exercise or travel to the tropics. They are also used to prevent heatstroke and Stoker's cramp. In veterinary use, they are used as a nutritional supplement for dogs with Addison's disease only on the advice of a veterinarian. The tablets are oblong (elongated) for easier swallowing.

Usage
Human:
Take 1 to 2 salt tablets per day for excessive fluid loss due to sweating (heat or prolonged exertion).
Veterinary:
Dosage and use as advised by your veterinarian
Storage instructions
Do not exceed the RDA of 6000mg, taking into account the NaCl intake you already take in through your normal diet.
Store at room temperature (15-25°C), dry and away from sunlight.
