Nasofree Starter Kit xylitol
Scientific research shows that nasal rinsing with a sufficient volume of saline solution injected into the nose with light positive pressure has the best effect.
The NasoFree nasal douche meets these criteria. Cleaning the nose (sinuses) with NasoFree nasal rinse salt with xylitol provides effective and gentle cleaning of the nasal mucous membrane.
In chronic rhinosinusitis, bacteria often play a role, producing a so-called biofilm (mucus layer).
Xylitol breaks down this mucus layer and can thus contribute to controlling nose (sinus) inflammation.
The package contains:
1 Nasal Rinser
30 Sachets nasal saline-xylitol
Use
For effective cleaning of the nose and sinuses
Instructions for use
1. Empty one sachet of nasal rinse salt into the nasal douche and fill it with lukewarm water. The water you use may, but does not need to be boiled. Western European tap water is generally clean enough. Shake the nasal douche a little before use. Make sure you have a tissue or a piece of kitchen roll handy to wipe your nose during nasal rinsing. 2. Bend slightly forward and place the nasal douche diagonally (at an angle of approximately 45°) into one of your nostrils. 3. Gently squeeze the nasal douche and, after squeezing, let the nasal rinse salt flow out of your nose. The nasal rinse salt can flow out through the same nostril (if the nose is severely blocked) or through the other nostril. Both are fine. If necessary, gently blow your nose. This will release extra nasal rinse salt and dirt from your nose. Place the tip of the nasal douche in the other nostril and repeat this process until the nasal douche is empty. By squeezing gently, you prevent nasal rinse salt from entering your pharynx. If this does happen, it is not harmful and you simply spit it out.
