Maximum thermometer + Measurement range: 32.0ºC to 42ºC. + Measurement precision: 0.1ºC between 35.5ºC to 42.0ºC at an ambient temperature of 18ºC to 28ºC.

Use
For measuring body temperature (oral, rectal, axillary)

Instructions for use
Press the ON/OFF button to switch on the instrument. All display symbols appear briefly and an audible signal sounds, followed by the last measured temperature value. If the temperature is lower than 32°C (90°F), "Lo" will be displayed on the LCD; if the temperature is higher than 42.9°C (109.9°F), "Hi" will appear. The Medisana TM 700 thermometer is now ready to measure. Insert the sensor tip orally, axillary or rectally: ORAL MEASUREMENT: Place the sensor tip of the thermometer under the tongue and close your mouth. Breathe through your nose during the measurement to avoid incorrect readings. RECTAL MEASUREMENT: Rectal measurement is found uncomfortable by many patients, but it provides accurate results. Gently insert the sensor tip approximately 1 cm deep into the rectum to quickly and reliably determine body temperature. AXILLARY MEASUREMENT: Clean the armpit before measurement. Place the measuring part of the thermometer under the armpit. Lower your arm and hold it gently against your body during the measurement.

Warnings
The thermometer contains small parts (batteries, etc.) that could be swallowed by children. Therefore, keep batteries and the thermometer out of reach of small children. If a battery or other part is swallowed, consult a doctor immediately. The included batteries must not be charged or reactivated by other means, disassembled, thrown into fire, or short-circuited. Do not drop the thermometer or open it (with the exception of the battery compartment for replacing batteries).
