Matcha is the only type of green tea that uses the entire tea leaf in powder form, made from the young leaves of the Camellia sinensis tea plant. The tea leaves are harvested only in the spring. The finest, whole leaves are destemmed and slowly ground into a fine tea powder.

Usage

Maximum dose of ECGC is 800 mg per day.
