Coenzyme Q10 is available in two forms: ubiquinone and ubiquinol. Ubiquinone is the oxidized form of coenzyme Q10, which must first be reduced in the body before it becomes active. As we age, the capacity for this conversion decreases. Ubiquinol is the reduced form of coenzyme Q10, which no longer needs to be converted and is therefore immediately effective. Ubiquinol is also better absorbed than ubiquinone.

In special circumstances: up to 4 capsules per day.
