Miso is a fermented soybean paste, used in the Far East for 1,300 years to flavor dishes and for its high-quality protein. Shiro Miso is a white, very young miso with a characteristically mild, sweet-salty flavor. This is due to the combination of soy and rice and the short natural fermentation process of just seven days. This authentic Japanese specialty responds to the current focus on oriental food combined with its ease of use. With this delicious miso soup, Lima integrates all the beneficial properties of fermented soy into the Western diet.
