What is this medicine used for?
KELO-COTE® Gel is indicated for the treatment and prevention of hypertrophic and keloid scars resulting from burns, general surgical procedures and traumatic wounds.
Directions for use
For new scars: Begin treatment as soon as the wound is closed or the stitches are removed. Make sure the affected area is clean and dry.
Application: Apply a very thin layer of KELO-COTE to the scar twice a day, do not rub in.
Drying: Dries within 5 minutes* to form a flexible, water-resistant, transparent layer.
Remove any excess product if it doesn't dry completely. Once dry, you can apply sunscreen and cosmetics.
Recommended treatment time: The minimum recommended treatment time is 60–90 days.
If improvement occurs after 90 days, continued use is recommended.
