Jiri & Friends Resin incense myrrh from Somalia
Somali myrrh resin incense comes from an Arabian shrub, also known as the balsam tree (Balsamodendron mirra). The delightful aromas of balsamic and anise in myrrh stimulate feminine energy. This ancient ingredient is used for both purification and perfuming. It also supports spirituality and meditation.
This resin is closely related to frankincense, as they both originate from the same semi-desert regions and trees in the same botanical family. Since ancient times, this resin has been important in various spiritual and religious rituals.
Compound
Somali myrrh resin incense comes from an Arabian shrub, also known as the balsam tree (Balsamodendron mirra).
Usage
Light a piece of charcoal with tongs and place it in an incense holder suitable for resin incense (preferably add sand underneath the charcoal).
Wait until the crackling stops and the edges of the charcoal turn white before adding half a teaspoon of the mixture to the censer.
For a gentler burn, you can use the aroma burner: place a teaspoon of the mixture in an aroma burner, with or without water in the bowl, and place the tea light in the aroma burner underneath.
Warnings
Use resin incense only in well-ventilated areas. Never inhale the smoke from the resin incense. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Keep away from flammable materials. Avoid contact with clothing. Do not use during pregnancy. May cause allergic reactions.
Store in a dry place out of reach of children and pets.
