Jiri & Friends Resin incense copal
Copal is a Nahuatl (Aztec) term meaning "incense." There are several types of copal resin and various tree species from which it is extracted. In the ancient civilizations of South America, copal was known as the "food of the gods" and was used in sacred rituals. This copal comes from the Bursera bippinata and is a white variety.
Copal has a fresher scent than traditional incense and is ideal for dispelling negative thoughts. Its aroma is known to clear the mind.
Compound
Benzoin resin extracted from Bursera bippnata, also known as White Copal
Usage
Light a piece of charcoal with tongs and place it in an incense holder suitable for resin incense (preferably add sand underneath the charcoal).
Wait until the crackling stops and the edges of the charcoal turn white before adding half a teaspoon of the mixture to the censer.
For a gentler burn, you can use the aroma burner: place a teaspoon of the mixture in an aroma burner, with or without water in the bowl, and place the tea light in the aroma burner underneath.
Warnings
Use resin incense only in well-ventilated areas. Never inhale the smoke from the resin incense. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Keep away from flammable materials. Avoid contact with clothing. Do not use during pregnancy. May cause allergic reactions.
Store in a dry place out of reach of children and pets.
