What is this medicine used for?
• To help with cold symptoms in the throat, such as tickly cough and short-term hoarseness
• For dried out mucous membranes in the mouth and throat and for irritation of the vocal cords
Directions for use
Adults and children aged 6 years and over: suck one lozenge several times a day as needed, with a maximum of 6 per day.
Suck the lozenges slowly and completely. One lozenge contains 1.05 g of sugar substitutes = 0.09 BU.
Contraindications
isla® medic acute should not be used if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.
Ingredients
The throat lozenges contain an aqueous extract of Iceland moss (0.4-0.8:1), carbomer, xanthan gum, sodium hyaluronate. Other ingredients: Gum Arabic, Sorbitol, Maltitol, Citric Acid Anhydrous, Acesulfame-K, Levomenthol, Peppermint Oil, Star Anise Oil, Fennel Oil, Aroma, Medium Chain Triglycerides, Water. 1 throat lozenge contains 0.11 g Sorbitol and 0.94 g Maltitol = 0.09 BU.

If you are hypersensitive to certain sugars, consult your doctor before use.
Can isla® medic acute be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
There are no known data that would contradict use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Side effects
Excessive use of isla® medic acute may lead to a laxative effect or stomach complaints.
In exceptional cases, hypersensitivity reactions may occur.
Storage advice
Store in a dry place and not above 25°C.

How long can you use isla® medic acute?
Isla® medic acute can be used for extended periods or intermittently as required.
If no improvement in symptoms is noticed after 3 days of continuous use or if the symptoms worsen (fever, muscle pain), consult your doctor or pharmacist.
