HG natural stone impregnating protector

HG natural stone impregnating protector is a special pre-treatment for marble and other natural stone types such as travertine, bluestone, hardstone, etc., but is also extremely suitable for concrete tiles containing pieces of natural stone, such as granito and marble composite. This unique product penetrates deep into the pores of the natural stone and thus stops its absorbent action. This prevents the penetration of dirt and (grease) stains, without affecting the original character of the natural stone or sealing the floor against moisture from below, so that the floor can "breathe" as it were.

This product contains no silicones, dries quickly and can be used both indoors and outdoors.

Contains methylisothiazolinone.

Instructions for use
1. The surface must be completely clean, grease-free and dust-free. For any necessary treatments: See the HG natural stone floor treatment matrix on the side of this bottle. 2. The adhesive/mortar and joints of new floors must be completely cured and dry. This usually takes 4-6 weeks. 3. Existing floors must be thoroughly dry after cleaning; a minimum of 3 days should be allowed for this. Very porous tiles, such as sandstone, however, need more time to completely lose the water. For this type of natural stone, we recommend allowing at least 1 week for this. However, if the floor has underfloor heating switched on, a drying time of 24 hours is sufficient. The underfloor heating must have been switched off for at least 12 hours before treatment with this product. 4. The liquid must be applied neat and, preferably, evenly and in one direction using a paint roller. On (high)gloss floors, this product must be applied and rubbed in with a non-fluffy cloth. 5. If, 10 minutes after application, it appears that there is still product on the natural stone in some places, which has not been absorbed, this must be immediately removed with a dry and non-fluffy cloth. 6. For very porous tiles, a 2nd treatment is recommended. This possible second coat can be applied approximately 1 hour after the first treatment. 7. Approximately 3 hours after the last treatment, the floor is normally walkable again and 12 hours after the last treatment the floor is fully protected. Coverage: Highly porous natural stone: ± 10-20 m2 per litre. Less porous and high-gloss natural stone: ± 20-50 m2 per litre. Maintenance: See the HG natural stone floor treatment matrix on the website www.HG.eu Tip: If the floor, after treatment with this product, is not provided with a specific top layer protection, such as the HG natural stone protector (product 33), it is recommended to repeat the treatment with this product every 1 to 2 years locally, especially in areas that are frequently used. The protection of the top layer by this product may decrease slightly over time due to foot traffic.

Transport and store upright. The mixture consists of 2.08% of one or more components of unknown toxicity. Store frost-free. For existing floors (which may have previously received an impregnating treatment), it is recommended to first do a test piece. This allows determining how much product needs to be applied, so that excessive use can be avoided and superfluous material does not have to be removed afterwards.
