HeltiQ Emergency Bandage is a wound pad and fixation bandage in one, allowing you to quickly and sterilely cover heavily bleeding wounds. The emergency bandage consists of a highly absorbent wound pad that absorbs a lot of blood and wound fluid and is equipped with a rolled-up elastic fixation bandage on both sides. The combination of the wound pad and the elastic fixation bandage allows you to quickly apply pressure to the wound, stopping or reducing bleeding. Thanks to the unique folding method of the emergency bandage, you can place it sterilely on your wound without having to touch it. This maintains the sterility of the emergency bandage.

Use
Quick and sterile covering of wounds.
Instructions for use
Remove the emergency bandage, still folded, from the packaging. Hold the left and right sides of the elastic fixation bandage with both hands. Make sure the bandages are on the top. Hold the wound pad at the bottom. Pull your hands apart so that the emergency bandage opens. Place the emergency bandage directly and correctly on the wound. The emergency bandage should not shift now. Secure the emergency bandage by first securing the short bandage. Then attach the long bandage, which overlaps the wound pad. The wound pad must be covered in such a way that no openings are visible.
Storage advice
Store the emergency bandage in a dry and dark place in the original, unopened packaging. The emergency bandage will then remain sterile during its shelf life, which is stated on the packaging.
