HeltiQ Honey Wound Plaster is a hydro-active hydrogel plaster consisting of 30% medicinal honey. The honey wound plaster aids in the natural recovery of small chronic wounds such as bedsores, leg ulcers, and diabetic foot ulcers. The honey wound plaster also helps with the natural recovery of small acute wounds such as surgical wounds, cuts and abrasions, and superficial 1st and 2nd-degree burns. HeltiQ Honey Wound Plaster creates a moist wound environment that promotes wound healing. The honey wound plaster prevents infections, reduces pain, and minimises the chance of scar formation. Also suitable for use in the shower or bath.
Directions for use
Burn 1.COOLING Cool a 1st or 2nd-degree burn with HeltiQ Burn Gel or a HeltiQ Burn Dressing. Note! Always consult a doctor for large and deep 2nd-degree burns. 2. COVERING Cover a 1st or 2nd-degree burn with the honey wound plaster Surgical wound CLEANSING Clean the skin around the surgical wound with a HeltiQ Wound Cleansing Wipe. Pat dry with a sterile HeltiQ Gauze Compress. COVERING Cover the surgical wound with the honey wound plaster. Chronic wound CLEANSING Clean the chronic wound with HeltiQ Wound & Eye Spray.
