Heltiq Gauze compresses volume pack
HeltiQ Gauze Compress is a woven sterile gauze pad suitable for cleaning the skin around the wound, cleaning instruments, or covering minor cuts. For pre-cleaning, you can use HeltiQ Gauze Compress with a wound disinfectant. Discard the gauze compress after cleaning and use a new one to cover a minor cut. For large cuts or minor abrasions and burns, use HeltiQ Non-Adherent Wound Compress.
The HeltiQ Gauze Compress is a sterile product. Because you apply the gauze compress sterilely to the cut wound directly from the packaging, it provides initial protection against dirt, moisture, and bacteria. For a minor cut, wrap the gauze compress with a HeltiQ Elastic Fixation Bandage or a HeltiQ Self-Adhesive Fixation Bandage and secure the bandage with a HeltiQ Adhesive Plaster. For a large cut, minor or large abrasion, or burn, always use a non-adherent wound compress, not a gauze compress.

HeltiQ Gauze Compress is suitable for cleaning the skin around the wound, cleaning instruments or covering minor cuts.
Directions for use
The gauze compress can be applied to the clean cut wound immediately after cleaning.
1. Clean and disinfect the small cut with a HeltiQ Wound Cleaning Wipe. Pat dry with a gauze compress.
2. Take a new gauze compress and remove it from the packaging at the very last moment to keep it sterile. (Follow the instructions on the packaging.) Hold the gauze compress between your thumb and index finger at a slight angle, or use tweezers.
3. Place the gauze compress on the small cut wound
4. Secure the gauze compress with a HeltiQ Self-Adhesive Fixation Bandage or a HeltiQ Elastic Fixation Bandage with a HeltiQ Adhesive Plaster.
