Heltiq Burn Compress
HeltiQ Burn Compress is a hydrogel-saturated compress that provides instant cooling for burns caused by fire, steam, hot liquids, radiant heat, or other non-chemical heat sources. Use the compress as first aid in the initial stages of a burn when there is no water available or on parts of the body that are difficult to cool with lukewarm water, such as the face. The burn compress can also be used in addition to cooling with lukewarm water.

What is this medicine used for?
You use the compress as first aid in the initial stages of the burn.
Directions for use
1. Open the packaging and take out the compress.
2. Place the compress on the wound and pour the remaining gel from the sachet over the compress.
3. Lightly secure the compress with a HeltiQ Elastic Fixation Bandage and secure with a HeltiQ Adhesive Plaster. Leave the compress in place for a maximum of 3 hours.
Ingredients
The hydrogel in the burn compress consists of 90% purified water, disinfectant Tea Tree oil and a gel-forming ingredient.
Warnings
For external use only
The burn compress is for single use only. Repeated use may cause infection.
Do not use if the packaging is damaged or if the compress feels dry.
In case of chemical burns, first remove or neutralize any chemical residue before applying the burn compress.
In case of large and open 2nd and 3rd degree burns, large abrasions, persistent complaints, skin irritation, swelling or infections, consult a doctor.
