Shampooing or immersing the animal in water immediately after treatment may shorten the duration of action. The product remains effective against fleas for 5 weeks if the dog is shampooed monthly after treatment. If the dog needs to be bathed, it is better to do so before treatment.
Immersion in water, repeated on two occasions after treatment, did not affect the adulticidal efficacy against fleas, nor the efficacy related to the prevention of the development of adult fleas from flea eggs.
The influence of immersion in water or washing the dog with shampoo on the effectiveness of the veterinary medicinal product against ticks has not been evaluated.
At the beginning of control measures, in the event of an infestation, the dog's basket, bedding and regularly used resting areas such as rugs and upholstery should be treated with a suitable insecticide and vacuumed regularly.
To reduce flea infestation in the environment, all animals in the household should be treated with a suitable flea control product.
The veterinary medicinal product does not prevent ticks from attaching to animals. Transmission of infectious diseases by ticks cannot be completely ruled out if conditions are unfavorable. Immediate efficacy has been demonstrated against Ixodes ricinus, indicating that ticks of this species are likely killed within 48 hours of administration of the veterinary medicinal product.
If Dermacentor reticulatus or Rhipicephalus sanguineus ticks are present when the product is applied, they may not be killed within the first 48 hours. Once dead, the ticks will usually fall off the animal. Any remaining ticks should be carefully removed, making sure that no tick mouthparts remain in the skin.
Intake during pregnancy and breastfeeding

Laboratory studies with fipronil and pyriproxyfen have not produced any data indicating teratogenic or embryotoxic effects. The safety of this veterinary medicinal product has not been established in pregnant or lactating bitches. Use during pregnancy and lactation only in accordance with the benefit-risk assessment by the responsible veterinarian.

Special precautions for use in animals
For external use only.
Animals should be accurately weighed before treatment.
In the absence of safety data, the veterinary medicinal product should not be used in puppies less than 10 weeks of age and/or weighing less than 2 kg.
It is important to avoid contact of the pipette contents with the eyes or mouth of the dogs being treated. In particular, oral ingestion by treated animals or animals in contact with treated animals through licking the application site should be avoided.
Do not use the veterinary medicinal product on wounds or damaged skin.
In the absence of additional safety studies, treatment should not be repeated at intervals of less than 4 weeks.
The use of the veterinary medicinal product has not been studied in sick or debilitated animals.
Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the veterinary medicinal product to animals
The veterinary medicinal product may cause neurotoxicity.
The veterinary medicinal product may be harmful if swallowed.
Avoid ingestion, including hand-mouth contact.
Do not smoke, drink or eat during application.
In case of accidental ingestion, seek medical advice immediately and show the package leaflet or label to the physician.
This veterinary medicinal product may cause irritation to eyes and mucous membranes.
Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mouth, including hand-eye contact.
In case of accidental skin or eye contact, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water.
If skin or eye irritation persists, seek medical advice and show the package leaflet or label to the physician.
Wash hands after use.
Treated animals should not be handled until the application site is dry. Children should not play with treated animals until the application site is dry. Therefore, it is recommended that animals not be treated during the day, but in the early evening, and that recently treated animals should not be allowed to sleep with their owners, especially children.
Keep the pipettes in the original packaging until the moment of use and throw away used pipettes immediately.
Other precautions

Dogs should not swim in open water for 48 hours after treatment.
The veterinary medicinal product may have adverse effects on painted, varnished, or other household surfaces or furnishings. Allow the application site to dry before contact with such materials.
Overdose (symptoms, emergency procedures, antidotes), if necessary
No serious adverse reactions were observed in a safety study with 10-week-old puppies treated three times with an interval of 4 weeks with up to five times the maximum recommended dose and six times with the maximum recommended dose with an interval of 4 weeks.
However, the risk of adverse reactions (see section 4.6) may increase with overdose, so animals should always be treated with the appropriate pipette size according to body weight.

Method of administration:
Remove the pipette from the blister pack. Hold the pipette upright. Tap the narrow part of the
pipette to ensure all contents are in the pipette reservoir.
Break off the tip of the spot-on pipette along the score line.
Part the hair at the back of the dog's neck until the skin is visible.
Place the tip of the pipette directly against the skin and gently squeeze the pipette several times
to empty it. If necessary, the contents of the pipette can be placed in one or two additional places
