Flamigel Hydroactive wound gel
Flamigel® is a hydroactive colloid gel for the treatment of minor wounds. Flamigel® supports rapid skin healing by covering the wound and creating an optimal moist healing environment. Flamigel® is intended for use after laser therapy, on superficial burns (including those caused by radiotherapy), and on minor wounds (e.g., abrasions, cuts). Flamigel® may also be used on superficial open wounds.
The hydroactive colloid formula of Flamigel® can quickly help soothe the pain of minor wounds thanks to its cooling effect.
Flamigel® helps to create optimal healing conditions to
to accelerate cell renewal so that the wound heals quickly and the chance of scarring is reduced.
In addition, Flamigel® protects the wound by forming a barrier against external contamination
What is this medicine used for?
Flamigel® can be used on dry or moist wounds:
• In the case of a dry wound, Flamigel® turns the dry wound into a moist wound (“hydrogel” effect). The dry wound absorbs the water contained in Flamigel®. This promotes
Flamigel® dissolves necrotic/damaged tissue.
• In the case of a moist wound, the hydrocolloid of Flamigel® is activated, causing Flamigel® to absorb excess moisture and restore and maintain the moisture balance of the wound (“hydrocolloid” effect)
Directions for use
Wash your hands before and after treating the wound. Gently clean and dry the wound before applying the gel.
For superficial burns and minor wounds (e.g., grazes, cuts): Gently apply Flamigel® to the wound once or twice daily (in case of sunburn, use two to six times daily). Do not rub in Flamigel®. If necessary, cover the wound with a bandage or plaster, change it daily.
For superficial open wounds: Apply a thick layer (5 mm) of Flamigel® to the wound, but avoid applying Flamigel® to the wound edges. Cover Flamigel® with a sterile, non-adhesive dressing and secure with an adhesive bandage or bandage. Leave Flamigel® in place as long as the gel structure is intact. When new skin cells are forming and the wound is almost closed, apply only a thin layer of Flamigel® to avoid maceration. If necessary,
protect the wound edges.
Contraindications
Do not use Flamigel® if you have known allergic reactions to parabens or any of the ingredients.
Do not use Flamigel® on the eyelids or in the eyes. If Flamigel® comes into contact with the eyes, rinse with running water and consult a doctor.

Warnings
