Epitact Metatarsal Cushions Double Size 42/45
Do you experience pain under your foot when walking? Some people describe a sensation of warmth, others say it feels like walking on nails with their forefoot, while still others describe a burning sensation… Some remove calluses or corns from under their foot. Regardless of the description, it often signifies intense pain that hinders walking. This pain under the foot usually corresponds to a deterioration of the plantar fat pad, a fatty tissue that serves to distribute pressure. Its deterioration can be due to age, but also to significant forefoot strain (as a result of previous sports activity) or prolonged standing. To compensate for the deterioration of the plantar fat pad, EPITACT® has developed a silicone gel that distributes pressure, a true replacement for the plantar fat pad: Epithelium 26®. It has been integrated into a metatarsal cushion so that it can be discreetly worn in any shoe.
- Epithelium 26® under the forefoot is the ideal material to distribute the load and thus reduce pressure on the arch of the foot. Its presence in the cushions provides a truly comfortable feeling.
- The metatarsal cushions stay very well in place under the foot. They are discreet, thin, and can be worn in your shoes.
Use
Prevent and relieve pain under the forefoot: aging of the plantar fat pad, burning sensation, calluses, etc.
Directions for use
• Apply to the skin on both feet. • The printed side of the fabric should be in contact with the sole of the foot. Do not reverse. • Slide the foot into the cushion, placing the fastening tab between the big toe and the second toe. • For optimal securement, do not wear barefoot, but with a sock, tights, or stockings over it.
