Epitact Sport Physiostrap® sport
The PhysioStrap Sport has a dynamic effect without restricting movement. It can therefore also be used preventatively, as it helps maintain muscle mass.
What is this medicine used for?
Wearing the Epitheliumflex® Physiostrap Sport helps alleviate patellar tendonitis (patellar femoral pain syndrome, patellar instability, patellar tendinopathy). In the case of a knee injury leading to complications (vulnerable ligaments, osteoarthritis), the Physiostrap® contributes to joint stability when resuming sports activities.
Directions for use
Apply:
Fold the elastic bands of the PhysioStrap Sport outwards.
Place your hands in the PhysioStrap Sport and position your kneecap in the designated area in the centre of the patella ring.
Fold the elastic straps back without tightening the PhysioStrap Sport on your leg.
Adjust the positioning of the PhysioStrap Sport while standing, ensuring the patella ring is positioned correctly.
To avoid any risk of irritation caused by the elastic silicone strap, the PhysioStrap® Sport should not be worn when you are not actively moving. For example, while sleeping, lying down, sitting, or traveling in a car, bus, or plane.
Do not put on the PhysioStrap until just before starting your sporting activity so that it is only worn during the movement/activity.
If you wear Booster compression tubes on your calves, place the lower elastic band of the PhysioStrap over the tube.
Fit:
Do not apply any moisturizing products before using the knee pad to ensure it stays in place properly.
If you experience difficulty keeping the knee pad in place in extreme conditions (sports involving rapid acceleration and deceleration, races with large elevation changes or long distances, high temperatures) it is recommended that you wear shorts over the PhysioStrap Sport.

Warnings
To ensure that the PhysioStrap Sport remains in perfect position, it is very important to clean the elastic silicone straps with soap and water after each use.
