Epitact Corrective Orthosis for Night Use
Choosing your size:
Measure the circumference of your foot behind your hallux valgus (bunion).
If you are between two sizes, choose the smaller size:
S: Greater than 20, smaller than 21.5 cm
M: Greater than 21.5, smaller than 23 cm
L: Greater than 23 cm, smaller than 24.5 cm
The orthosis is thermoformable (custom-fit). The orthosis becomes pliable once fully submerged in warm water. Insert the spreader (included) as soon as you have put on the orthosis. This way, the orthosis will take the shape of your foot and gently correct your big toe. The orthosis hardens and becomes firm again in a few minutes. This provides you with a comfortable, custom-fit orthosis that won't bother you while you sleep. Because the orthosis can be thermo-reformed multiple times, it is always adjustable.
- The thermoformable reinforcement corrects the position of the big toe. This way, joint pain at night is relieved.
Usage
Regular use of the EPITACT® corrective night orthosis corrects hallux valgus and prevents it from progressing. The orthosis helps to relieve joint pain and pain from contact at night.
