Hallux valgus is a deformity of the big toe, pointing towards the other toes. The head of the first metatarsal bone protrudes further from the foot, creating an internal exostosis, or bunion.
This deformity affects 5 to 10% of the population and can be particularly debilitating.
- The patented ergonomics and the thickness of the protective plaster (deliberately limited to 1 mm of gel) offer all the benefits of Epithelium 26 without causing extra pressure in the shoe.
Use
Relieving pain caused by hallux valgus.
Instructions for use
• By placing a 1 mm thick Epithelium 26® pad on the bunion, friction is reduced without creating extra pressure due to lack of space in the shoes. • The protection is easy to apply and stays in place perfectly. • The pads can be machine washed at 40° in the included laundry net. • If you use them daily and clean them correctly, you can use the pads for several months. • If you are diabetic, it is better to use the Hallux valgus plaster.
