Hallux valgus is a misalignment of the big toe, in the direction of the other toes. The head of the first metatarsal bone extends further away from the foot and protrudes, creating an internal exostosis, or bunion.
This deformity affects 5 to 10% of the population and can be particularly disabling.
- The patented ergonomics and the thickness of the protective patch (consciously limited to 1 mm of gel) offer all the advantages of Epithelium 26 without causing additional pressure in the shoe.
What is this medicine used for?
Relieving the pain caused by hallux valgus.
Directions for use
• By placing a 1 mm thick Epithelium 26® pad on the bunion, less friction is created, without creating additional pressure due to lack of space in the shoes.
• The protection is easy to apply and stays in place excellently.
• The cushions can be machine washed at 40° in the supplied washing net.
• If you use them daily and clean them properly, you can use the pads for several months.
• If you are diabetic, it is better to use the Hallux valgus plaster.
Contraindications
Do not apply to injured skin.
In case of diabetes, phlebitis and neuropathy, monitor the foot regularly.
