What is this medicine used for?

Directions for use
Application for cold therapy:
Cooling takes place in the ice compartment of the refrigerator or in the freezer (down to -25°C).
After an hour, place the compress in the cover and then on the area to be treated.

Application for warm therapy:
Heat the compress (without protective cover) in the microwave at 850 W for a maximum of 30 seconds.
Knead thoroughly and heat again for 30 seconds at 850 W. Test the compress's temperature on your forearm.
Place the compress in the cover and then on the area to be treated.

Contraindications
Do not use in case of reduced temperature perception, peripheral blood circulation disorders, Raynaud's syndrome, when taking pain medication, in children under 3 years of age, on damaged skin and on open wounds.

Warnings
General warning advice
For external use only. Do not apply the compress directly to the skin, but always place it in the accompanying sleeve or on a towel.
Do not apply to open wounds or damaged skin. Use only under supervision in children. Keep out of reach of children.
Check the product before use and do not use a torn or damaged compress but dispose of it with household waste.
Do not apply excessive pressure or force to the compress. Keep the compress away from sharp or pointed objects.
If you have circulatory problems or other known illnesses, consult your doctor before using the compress.

Overly long application or application of the cold compress without a protective cover can lead to local frostbite.

Risk of burns if the product overheats. Risk of burns if the compress is used without a protective cover or towel.
Defective compresses can cause burns due to leaking gel. Therefore, carefully check the compress for damage and overheating, especially when used on children.
In case of acute or chronic inflammatory processes, consult a doctor before using the heat compress. Heat only in the microwave. Keep away from open flames.
The compress must not be heated by children under 8 years of age or by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they are supervised or have been shown safe heating practices and understand the hazards involved.
When heating the compress in the microwave, the heating process may be delayed and may continue even after the microwave has been switched off.
Therefore, wait 20 seconds before opening the microwave. To avoid accidental burns, always use oven mitts when removing the compress from the microwave.
Higher wattages, longer heating times, or higher temperatures than those specified here may damage the compress.
Due to differences in microwave types, heating results may vary. To ensure even heat distribution, only use a microwave with a turntable.
