Elastomull Adhering, self-adhesive, elastic fixation bandage; for fixing dressings, especially on curved and moving body parts.

Highly stretchable and skin-friendly white fixation bandage made of 40% cotton, 30% viscose and 30% polyamide. The fixation bandage is impregnated with micro-droplets of natural rubber latex, causing the bandage to stick to itself (self-adhesive) but not to the skin or hair. Due to the latex impregnation, the bandage does not shift, and a limited (1/3) overlap per turn is sufficient.
Thanks to the weaving technique and the use of polyamide, the bandage is particularly stretchable (approximately 50% in length), making even complicated dressings quick and easy to apply. With normal use, due to its elastic properties, no venous congestion occurs, and freedom of movement is hardly restricted. To prevent venous congestion, the bandage should preferably not be applied under tension. It is therefore easier to unroll the bandage per turn before fixing the dressing. Even after prolonged use, the elasticity does not decrease.
Thanks to the high cotton and viscose content and the loose weave of the fabric, the bandage is very soft, comfortable, and skin-friendly. The open weave structure ensures that the skin can breathe well.
The bandage can be sterilized in an autoclave or using gas.

Suitable for the fixation of dressings and splints, especially on curved and moving body parts, such as arms, legs, fingers, toes, head, neck and torso as an anti-slip layer under compression bandages as a light compression and support bandage, for example after the removal of a plaster cast
