Mandarin is the cold-pressed oil extracted from the peel of the fruit with a distinctive aroma: fresh with a sweet undertone. The scent is unmistakable and loved by practically everyone. It's a fragrance that uplifts and cheers. Children especially love the scent. The oil has a relaxing effect due to the presence of N-methyl anthranilate, a nitrogenous compound in mandarin oil. If insomnia stems from tension, mandarin oil is a pleasant remedy.
On the skin, mixed with a massage or fatty plant oil, mandarin oil softens stretch marks and hard scars.
