Chi Macadamia oil eco
A cold-pressed oil from the macadamia nut. The oil's remarkable content is palmitol (palmitoleic) acid, an omega-7 fatty acid. This fatty acid is naturally occurring in the skin and the main component of sebum, especially in children.
Research has shown that the production of palmitoleic acid in sebum decreases as we age. The skin then becomes noticeably drier. Macadamia is therefore very suitable for dry and aging skin. It not only nourishes but also prevents the oxidation of sebum. Oils containing palmitoleic acid ensure easy absorption into the skin and good spreading properties.
