Chi Kokos eco bio
Chi organic coconut oil is cold-pressed, unrefined, and has a delightful coconut scent. The oil is pressed from the fresh copra (flesh) of the coconut. For thousands of years, coconut oil has been the go-to skincare product in Asia, South America, and Africa. Nearly half the world's population still uses coconut oil for their daily skin and hair care. It's a fantastic base for our daily skincare routine, especially when combined with other, more liquid plant oils. At room temperature, coconut oil is solid, but because its melting point is between 23 and 27°C, it melts as soon as you apply it to your skin.
Coconut is suitable for all skin types, especially dry skin. Chi organic coconut oil has a moisturizing, relaxing, and slightly cooling effect. Combined with jojoba oil, coconut is ideal for rough skin and cracked hands and feet.
Coconut oil is a good protector against moisture loss. It absorbs relatively quickly because the main fatty acid molecules in coconut (lauric acid and myristic acid) are small. As a result, the oil doesn't leave a greasy film on the skin. Regular use makes the skin soft and elastic. This unrefined, organic coconut oil is rich in vitamin E and tocotrienols. These antioxidants slow the effects of skin aging. In summer, coconut oil is the ideal after-sun thanks to its cooling and soothing properties.
Ingredients (INCI)
Coconut oil (Cocos nucifera) organic
Usage
Skin care:
Coconut is suitable for all skin types, especially dry skin. Chi organic coconut oil has a moisturizing, relaxing, and slightly cooling effect. Combined with jojoba oil, coconut is ideal for rough skin and cracked hands and feet.

Hair mask:
Normal to dry and brittle hair can be given extra nourishment with an (overnight) hair mask. Coconut oil promotes healthy, strong hair with a natural shine and helps stimulate hair growth.
Recipe for 1 (overnight) hair mask:
5 ml coconut oil
5 ml castor oil
For a dry scalp: 2 drops of sandalwood, or for an oily scalp: 2 drops of lemongrass
Tip: For long hair, use double the amount of castor and coconut.
Mix all ingredients together to make one mask. Apply the mask evenly throughout your hair, from roots to ends. Wrap your hair in a towel or use a shower cap and leave the mask on for at least 1 to 2 hours—but preferably overnight! Then, wash the mask out twice (the next morning) with a neutral or mild shampoo.
Massage:
To use coconut oil for massage, it's best to mix it in equal parts with another vegetable oil, such as almond or apricot kernel, for a better texture. Coconut oil is also very suitable as a base for baby massage. For a relaxing massage oil with coconut oil, use 100ml of fatty vegetable oil and optionally add 10-15 drops of essential oil.
Of course, fatty vegetable oils are also suitable for use in cooking! Use a fatty vegetable oil for frying or as a salad dressing. Coconut oil is a healthy alternative to butter, for example. The saturated fatty acids in coconut oil consist mainly of medium-chain fatty acids that are converted into energy in the body. The body does not store them as fat.
Storage advice
