CO2 extraction is a clean extraction method that uses carbon dioxide (like the bubbles in sparkling water) as a solvent. The aroma of CO2 extracts is the most refined of all and resembles that of the fresh plant! The oils are extracted at a low temperature. The pressure draws out not only the aroma but also the pigment and possibly resins from the plant, which is why CO2 extracts sometimes have a thicker or even solid consistency. Carefully and slowly warm the bottle in hot water or a double boiler before use.

Usage
Mix 1 drop of cinnamon oil in a teaspoon of vegetable oil and add to cookie dough, pie dough or batter.
Do not use cinnamon CO2 extract on skin.
