A deep blue oil with a sweet, slightly spicy scent and fruity undertones. The oil is extracted from the flowers of the German chamomile plant. Blue chamomile can be used in a lamp for headaches and insomnia, especially when combined with lavender. But blue chamomile's greatest benefits are on the skin. It is an ideal skin conditioner thanks to the presence of bisabolol and chamazulene.
It's one of the most reliable anti-inflammatory oils in aromatherapy and can be used for dermatitis, eczema, inflamed skin, and (burn) wounds. When using it topically, you should mix the essential oil with a massage oil or a fatty plant oil.
